Start free against test data. Move to a paid plan when real travellers' money is flowing through it. One caught failure usually costs more than the month.
One order, judged once. Re-checking the same order after the supplier finally confirms — which the watcher does on its own — does not count again. You are billed for orders, not API calls.
Nothing breaks. Overage is billed at the per-order rate on the plan. Relay will never stop reconciling mid-month, because the month you exceed your plan is exactly the month you need it working.
